Guardians of Light Mir 2 is an MMORPG based on an ancient oriental world where great warriors, dark sorcerers, mighty Taoists, cunning assassins and skilled archers pursue a legacy to rid the evil creatures that dominate the vast lands of Mir.
In Guardians of Light you can be a powerful warrior and develop your ability in close combat, a skilled wizard with the strength to set the earth on fire, a magnificent taoist enriched with inner spiritual powers, a cunning and stealthy assassin or a skilled archer.
 
Thousands of users can play together in the vast world of Mir, fight side by side to develop your skills and become stronger and stronger… explore dangerous dungeons and fantastic cities… create powerful guilds and conquer legions of malefic creatures.. defend amazing castles.. or even raise them to the ground.

Guardians of Light is a working version of the new Crystal recoding project. Based on the Euro Mir concept, it is a free-to-play, low rate server where players must earn their experience and levels. Old Euro players will love this return to "purity" and will also be glad to see that in-game gold amounts are sensible, whilst items for their level are available for those willing to persevere.

Guardians of Light also incorporates official features, such as the Archer class and Mounts, alongside old favourites such as Fishing and Crafting. A new mail system allows players to send each other gold and items (for an agreed price if required). All classes will soon be able to have a pet, which can be set to pick up items, whilst mob gold goes directly into the players' bags (and is divided automatically within a group) .

The game is still under active development, with many new features in the pipeline, like the Awakening system which gives an alternative method for upgrading items using glyphs. New skills, maps, monsters and items are also coming on-line.
There is a current player base of around 20, and new players will find a very friendly community with help given freely.
